Lunar Dragon 6 Lunar Dragon
Lunar Nodes in astrology?

Does anyone know the origin of the reference to the lunar north node at the head of the dragons and the node that Lunar Souther tails of dragons? There's a reason people started to call this principle, though time passes, things get lost and overlooked. All occult tradition that I know? Thanks in advance.

The lunar nodes are points along the ecliptic path annum (the sun) that indicate where the eclipse will occur. The dragon's head time or queue for them is that in ancient times, people have seen the moon covers the sun during an eclipse as a dragon covering the sun. Therefore, the north or ascending node of the moon has been called the dragon's head. The south or descending node, the moon is called the dragon's tail. Thus, the nodal axis arises from the intersection of the Moon and solar paths. I do not know if they really believed that the eclipse was a dragon, or if it was just a metaphor. In modern astrology, The South Node is supposed to be his karmic legacy (which you do in the world), and the North Node symbolizes his karmic legacy (which is given to the world). "The Eagle and the Lark" by Bernadette Brady has a section on of eclipses and the knots and described very clearly. It is also an exhaustive list of all eclipses are up, and what each means that if you get the nerve in his subject.
